Thanks to the work of journalist Chris Rufo and scholar Dr. James Lindsay, the country is now well aware that Critical Race Theory is an outgrowth of Critical Legal Studies. The first item on OU President Herroz’ agenda as OU President was institutionalizing the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Why? The people of Oklahoma deserve to know exactly what the President of their flagship university believes, and how those beliefs will affect the lives of students and the City of Norman.
Here are some questions UnWokable will be exploring in the coming weeks:
What is President Herroz’ experience with and opinion of Critical Legal Studies?
Has he ever taught or implemented as a Law School Professor/Administrator, any classes in Critical Legal Studies/Critical Race Theory?
How have his past have his legal philosophies manifested in his Administration as OU President?
What were his views of Academic Freedom before becoming OU President and how have those views affected the life of students on the OU Campuses since he became President?
What is his connection to Mayor Breea Clark, how close are they professionally and ideologically, and how is that relationship affecting the City of Norman, and The University of Oklahoma?
Does he share Mayor Clark’s Ibram X. Kendi inspired Antiracist Ideology, as it pertains to Discrimination and Public Policy?
