Clark & Kendi: Discriminators in Chief
Mayor Breea Clark’s Practice of Critical Race Theory directly led to Defunding of the Norman Police Department
The rise of the Defund the Police movement in Norman, Oklahoma, seemed to come out of nowhere. But make no mistake, Mayor Clark’s move to Defund the Police was rooted in a deeply held belief in the goal of CRT/DEI/Antiracism - gaining and keeping power for herself.
On June 11th, 2020, Mayor Breea Clark posted a picture on her Facebook account of the book “How To Be An Antiracist” by Ibram X. Kendi.
“I have had blind spots pointed out to me by members of my community that want to make it a better place and me a better leader…I hope all of us are willing to have this conversation… #change”.
Ibram X. Kendi, who is widely considered the preeminent voice of CRT/DEI/Antiracist ideology, is very clear about what it means to actually be antiracist:
“The defining question is whether the discrimination is creating equity or inequity. If discrimination is creating equity, then it is antiracist. If discrimination is creating inequity, then it is racist. . . . The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.” – Ibram X. Kendi, How To Be An Antiracist
CRT/DEI/Antiracist ideology is unequivocally pro-discrimination of the individual based on race + viewpoint - as long as that racial discrimination is creating equity of outcome between Kendi determined collective groups. Kendi cleverly calls this foe-morally superior form of racism in action “antiracist discrimination.”
But don’t be fooled, unlike the word racism, Kendi has yet to change the definition of the word discrimination. It still means exactly what you think it does. Discrimination of the individual based upon the color of ones skin + their viewpoint, is Kendi’s ONLY stated mechanism of achieving “equity of outcome” between groups of individuals.
Kendi, by way of Critical Race Theory ideology commands that to be a true, devout antiracist, a person must actively promote and “work” toward the ideological takeover of any institution that promotes “racist policies.” (using Kendi’s new definition of racism)
“There is no in between safe space of “not racist.” The claim of “not racist” neutrality is a mask for racism.” –Ibram X. Kendi, How To Be An Antiracist
If a person acknowledges their racism, they become an “ally” by “doing the work” of antiracism. If a person denies their racism, that denial is also proof of their racism and they are not to be included. This illogical, anti-intellectual manipulation has now even morphed into a new term specifically for white antiracists, like Mayor Breea Clark: “racist anti-racists.” But on this new term, I actually agree. What Mayor Clark is promoting is Jim Crow 1.0 discrimination to extricate those who dissent to any Kendi approved ideology. But Mayor Clark’s designation as an “racist anti-racist” exempt’s her from the discrimination she demands of others.
Why? Because she is committed to “doing the work” on the City of Norman.
The Huffington Post echoed why Mayor Clark, as an elite, educated white woman, is exempt from antiracist discrimination, in an article published on June 5th, 2020, just days before Mayor Clark defunded the police.
“According to the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre, “Anti-racism is an active way of seeing and being in the world, in order to transform it.” It’s about working in your workplace, school, community and other areas of society to actively challenge racism.”
According to Kendi and Mayor Clark, their rebranded form of racism is present in every system and institution, one just needs to “do the work” to find it - and they will find it in any person who disagree with antiracist policies.
There are no other choices. Being an antiracist requires that a person do all they can to take over all systems and institutions in America. If you are not doing that, you are a racist. Why? Because an institution cannot be antiracist, until it is run by antiracists - the only thing you need to do to be a racist, is disagree with public policies promoted by Kendi and Mayor Breea Clark.
Mayor Clark is the walking talking example that shows this is not about race - it is about using the issue of race - or any other issue that can be weaponized, such as Covid - to gain control of institutions.
How do they achieve takeover of American institutions using Kendi’s antiracist brand of institutional takeover? Divisions of Ideological Enforcement - commonly known as Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion - to enforce antiracist policies in institutions.
“There is no such thing as a nonracist or race-neutral policy. Every policy in every institution in every community in every nation is producing or sustaining either racial inequity or equity between racial groups.”
-Ibram X. Kendi, How To Be An Antiracist
Mayor Clark obviously took to heart what she learned from Kendi, because she just days after she told the world of her support for Kendi, she became a practicing antiracist by inserting the work of CRT ideology into Norman Public Policy.
On June 16th, 2020, just five days after her Facebook post promoting Ibram Kendi’s public policy based practice of CRT ideology, Mayor Clark did her part as a devout “racist anti-racist,” and pushed through a vote to Defund the Norman Police Department.
What Norman citizens didn’t realize at the time was that by defunding the Norman police department, Mayor Clark was setting a trap.
Her move labeled every officer in the Norman Police Department that disagreed with her antiracist policy - as well as any individual person who supports The Norman Police Department - racist. Mayor Clark effectively used Norman public policy to segregate (to identify), intimidate, discriminate against, and extricate those officers that did not hold her ideological views - and what did a large number of those dissenting police officers do?
They left - and I don’t blame them for that. They didn't deserve to be treated that way. But that doesn’t change the fact that they did exactly what Mayor Clark wanted them to do - ceed the institution to her and Kendi’s ideology.
After this first stage of Mayor Clark’s ideological cleansing of the Norman Police Department was complete, the Norman Police Department instituted the Division of Ideological Enforcement (DEI) necessary to keep it pure.
March 2, 2021
The Norman Police Department establishes a Diversity and Equity Committee affirming the agency’s commitment to work on creating and maintaining a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization and the Norman community.
Composed of a diverse group of both commissioned officers and civilian employees, the Diversity and Equity Committee aims to uphold its mission to discuss, educate and lead department efforts to enhance the values of diversity, equity, and inclusivity both internally and externally.
Strangely, and despite being warned by the author about this months before, the response from the leader of the local group that gained prominence in Norman defending the police - Unite Norman - was effectively silent when this happened, choosing instead to keep fighting an already lost battle to recall Mayor Clark. In fact, when I approached Sassan Moghadam to tell him exactly what I am telling you now, I got summarily dismissed. At the time I thought this was just a difference of opinion, but now, I know for a fact it wasn’t. But more on that later…
If everything I am saying sounds similar to what is happening in now in Norman schools, it’s businesses, and institutions with covid, masks, and even water rationing, you are not crazy. You see, Mayor Clark may be a true believing “racist anti-racist,” but remember that her goal, and Kendi’s goal isn’t actual racial justice - it’s power - and she and Kendi are willing to sacrifice any individual or institution they touch to get it.
